If you have updated to the new Apple Big Sur operating system, it is possible that Darkoom does not open anymore. Indeed, it is necessary to update the Crossover software that allows you to install Windows software on a Mac.
The basic license of the software does not allow you to make updates for free. Therefore, it is necessary to purchase a new Crossover license in order to continue its use on your computer with Big Sur.
When purchasing the license, do not forget to send us the Crossover receipt to support@exposiohdr.com with your details so that we can compensate you with 50 photo credits.
To purchase a new license, click on Crossover and Search for an upgrade in the top menu. Following the instructions, this will take you to the Crossover website to make the purchase.
Once completed, return to the software and update by clicking in the same place. It will be necessary to log in with your Crossover account.
When the Crossover update is complete, you should be able to open Darkroom/Chambre Noire as usual.
